Artist Biography

Once upon a time a young artist put away her art supplies, bought a suit and brief case, and headed out to earn a consistent paycheck with benefits to support her growing family. Every day she worked long and hard, was rewarded with worldly success and yet one day she realized something was missing. Because of that awakening, she went on a quest for meaning, studied world religions, recognized common threads and incorporated what she learned into her life practice. Until finally she came full circle, returning to her art making as a means to describe fundamental and ineffable joy that was the ground of her being all along.

In the last ten years Kathryn has logged hundreds if not thousands of hours exploring the places where beauty comes into being and passes away.
