In 2019 I joined with two fellow artists and avid growers to celebrate gardens through 2019 growing season and create art work to exhibit at Harlow Gallery, Hallowell Maine in February 2020. .

For this project, my approach is simple: photograph everyday, something of beauty, mostly flowers. Although in winter I enjoy painting and drawing and photographing in my studio, as soon as there’s a wash of spring color, my studio space has no walls. I wander outside to see what is special to season and from complexity of broad landscape, narrow my focus on some small thing. I shoot intuitively often moving to abstraction. breeze helping exaggerate blurred edges between seen and unseen worlds coming into being and passing away..
